Inositol is a carbocyclic sugar found in the brain and other tissues in the body. Our prenatal supplement contains Inositol with added folate which can support women during fertility. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus, so a supplemented folic acid intake increases maternal folate status.
